Privacy Policy
Kantelyse is an Android application that prepares structured training-analysis packages from data you authorize it to read from Intervals.icu. Kantelyse is currently in private beta.
1. Data Kantelyse may access
Depending on the analysis profile and the permissions you grant, Kantelyse may read relevant Intervals.icu data such as:
- activities and activity summaries;
- activity streams such as power, heart rate, cadence and related sensor data when available;
- intervals and workout structure;
- wellness and recovery data available in your Intervals.icu account;
- calendar, planned workouts and event information;
- athlete settings or profile values needed to interpret training data.
Kantelyse is designed to use read-only access for Intervals.icu data and is not intended to edit or delete your Intervals.icu training history.
2. Why the data is used
The data is used to build a structured and validated analysis package based on the analysis profile you select and any question or context you provide. The purpose is to make your training data easier for an AI assistant or coach to interpret.
3. Local processing and generated files
Kantelyse is designed to process training data on your device and create the resulting analysis package locally. Generated packages remain under your control until you explicitly choose to share or move them.
4. Sharing with AI or other third parties
Kantelyse does not automatically upload your generated analysis package to an AI provider. If you choose to share a package with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or another service, that is an explicit action by you and the privacy policy and terms of that service then apply.
5. Authentication
Kantelyse may use OAuth to let you authorize access to Intervals.icu. OAuth credentials or access tokens are used only to authenticate requests that you have authorized. The Android app is designed so that confidential OAuth client secrets are not embedded in the application package.
6. Server-side components
A limited server-side authentication component may be used to complete a secure OAuth token exchange. It is not intended to receive or store your full training history or generated analysis packages. If the architecture changes materially, this policy will be updated before such use is introduced.
7. Location data
Kantelyse does not need to include detailed GPS route coordinates in the standard AI analysis package. Route-coordinate export is intentionally not part of the default privacy-preserving analysis flow.
8. Analytics, advertising and sale of data
The current private beta does not use advertising or sell personal data. This website does not intentionally use analytics, advertising trackers or marketing cookies.
9. Data retention
Generated analysis files are stored locally until you delete them or manage them through your device. Authentication information may be retained on the device as required to keep the account connected. Kantelyse does not require a central copy of your training history for its normal analysis-package workflow.
10. Your control
You can stop using Kantelyse, remove generated files from your device, disconnect access to Intervals.icu, or revoke the authorization through the relevant service when available.
11. Security
Kantelyse is designed to minimize unnecessary data movement and to keep confidential application credentials out of the Android app. No system can guarantee absolute security, but the app aims to request and process only the data needed for its stated purpose.
12. Children
Kantelyse is intended for people managing their own sports training data and is not specifically directed at children.
13. Changes to this policy
Kantelyse is under active development. This policy may be updated when OAuth, distribution or data-processing behavior changes. The revision date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly.
14. Third-party service
Intervals.icu is a third-party service and is not affiliated with Kantelyse. Your use of Intervals.icu remains subject to Intervals.icu's own terms and privacy practices.
